I enjoyed watching the interviewing.  It gives you an idea of what the novel is about without having to read it. I really enjoyed it and will pass it on to friends who were interested in reading the book.

Heaven is for Real for Kids tells the story of a little boy, who at 4 years old went to Heaven during a surgery. Colton miraculously recovered, and when he talked to his family after the surgery he told them of the things he saw in Heaven, which would have been impossible for him to know unless he did, in fact, go to Heaven. Review: Waking Hours By Lis Wiehl with Pete Nelson

Wow, I just finished reading Waking hours and wanted to immediatly write the review on it.  First of all Thank you Booksneeze for the chance to review this book.
When I first read the summary:

Welcome to East Salem. A deceptively sleepy town where ancient supernatural forces are being awakened.
A local high-school girl is found murdered in a park.  It portaits 2 main characters who are so detailed and well explained.

This book kept me on the seat of my pants litterally.  I normally don't read suspense or crime novels but I am glad I did.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants an exciting intense story to read.  I will be passing this on to my friends and family for sure.

Thank You again Book Sneeze.

Where Has Oprah Taken Us? By Stephen Mansfield

Where Has Oprah Taken Us” by Stephen Mansfield has shown us a different look at Oprah Winfrey. I have always absolutley loved Oprah so when I seen a chance to review this book on Booksneeze I signed up write away.  It is a great hardcover book with a beautiful picture of Oprah on the cover.
Summary:
Born into poverty in Mississippi in 1954 and rising through talent, hard work and despite tragedy-she was raped at the age of nine and lost an infant son at 14-Oprah Winfrey has become one of the wealthiest, most powerful, and most popular women of her age. These facts alone would make Winfrey worthy of study, yet what makes her of even more profound impact on American society is her decision to champion the cause of "New Age Christianity." She is, as Christianity Today has proclaimed, "a postmodern priestess-an icon of church-free spirituality." Rejecting her Baptist roots, Winfrey has become a champion of the Course in Miracles, a seminar in which Christianity is reinterpreted in terms of self-actualization, personal divinity, and self-empowerment. She has also become a disciple of Eckhart Tolle, the increasingly popular teacher of a form of spirituality that blends Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Christianity.

One Call Away: Answering Life's Challenges with Unshakable Faith

I really enjoyed readying this book, I was unsure at first as I am not really interested in sports however, it was very insprational.  I will for sure be passing this book on to my friends and family to read

Summary:
The remarkable story of Brenda Warner''s resilient faith in the face of the unpredictable, both before and during her marriage to NFL quarterback Kurt Warner.
Brenda''s life has taken twists and turns that are stranger than fiction. It always seemed as if she was just one phone call away from the next explosive change. Each time her plans fell apart, she had a choice: would she give up, or would she press forward and learn from the unexpected? One Call Away is the inspiring story of a woman who has prevailed through many of the circumstances that discourage women: tragedy, poverty, betrayal, and humiliation. But unlike most women, her life has been on display in the media.
Brenda''s faith and God''s strength enable her to face challenge after challenge: an accident that leaves her son blind and brain damaged, a crumbling marriage, a tornado that kills her parents, a new relationship with promising football player Kurt Warner, and the pressures his sudden success brings to their growing family.
Through food stamps and funerals, Super Bowls and serving others, Brenda''s strength is unwavering. Her determination to dream new dreams, willingness to learn from her mistakes, and commitment to giving back to her community make her a role model for women of all backgrounds.
Her dreams haven''t materialized as she had imagined, but Brenda has found that God has a much bigger plan for her. Conversational and candid, One Call Away invites readers facing their own difficulties to trust God and discover hope in the future.

Review: Stumbling Into Grace By Lisa Harper

Summary:

Humorous yet poignant stories from Lisa''s life help readers relate to spiritual truths found in the life and ministry of Christ.
Stumbling Into Grace is the diary-devotional of one woman''s honest, ongoing, bumbling journey of faith and how she finds encouragement through a deeper understanding of Christ''s time on earth. Within each chapter she alternates her often humorous memoir with stirring portraits of Jesus and his own encounters as recorded in the New Testament.
Both intimately relevant and refreshingly inspirational, this book will help readers to jettison the theological misconceptions, guilt, shame, and hypocrisy they struggle with, exchanging them for a vibrant, passionate relationship with Christ that results in a more abundant, joyful life.

It was a very fun read.  I would recommend it to anyone.
Thank You Booksneeze.

Review for: Heart of Ice by Lis Wiehl, April Henry

Summary:

The Triple Threat Club novels follow three fiercely intelligent women-a TV reporter, a Federal prosecutor and an FBI agent-as they investigate crimes as current as today''s headlines.
The Triple Threat women have faced intense situations before.but never such a cunningly cold-blooded murderer.
Elizabeth Avery is a stunningly beautiful woman. But her perfectly managed exterior hides the ice cold heart of a killer.  She ingeniously manipulates everyone who crosses her path to do exactly as she wishes--from crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, who thinks Elizabeth is her new best friend, to a shy young man Elizabeth persuades to kill for her.
As Elizabeth leaves a trail of bodies in her wake, Federal prosecutor Allison Pierce and FBI agent Nicole Hedges must piece together clues from seemingly unrelated crimes. Can they stop her before she reaches her unthinkable, ultimate end-game?

It was a very suspensful book and I really enjoyed it.  I have already passed it to friends.

The Band that Played On: The Extraordinary Story of the 8 Musicians Who Went Down with the Titanic by Steve Turner

The Band that Played On: The Extraordinary Story of the 8 Musicians Who Went Down with the Titanic by Steve Turner

I have always loved learning about the Titanic and watching the movie. When I seen that this book was available for review on booksneeze I just had to have it.
The Band played on tells a totally different story and outlook on the Titanic.  IT tells the story of the 8 Musicians who went down with the ship.  These brave musicians continued playing thru all the chaos that was going on when it hit the Iceberg in hopes to help calm passengers.   Steve Turner does a great job of depicting the heroic acts of Wallace Hartley, John Wesley Woodward, John Fredrick Preston Clarke, Theodore Ronald Brailey, John Law Hume, Roger Marie Bricoux, Percy Cornelius Taylor and Georges Alexandre Krins.
This book is a real eye opener into the story.  These musician’s were the brave of the brave.  The ship was very lucky to of had them aboard.  If you have any interest at all about the Titanic I would highly recommend reading this book.

The Shelter of God’s Promises by Shelia Walsh

The Shelter of God’s Promises by Shelia Walsh
I was curious about this book when I seen it available on Booksneeze.  I have seen the author’s Video Sessions in the past and was excited to be able to have her stories in hardcopy.
In The Shelter of God's Promise, the author in whom is a gifted Bible teacher and inspiring speaker Sheila Walsh primes Scripture for what God has promised us, what God's promises mean, and how these promises provide the foundation for daily confidence, joy, and hope.
After reading this book I felt at ease and a better understanding of Christ.  I think this book would be good for religion classes or group prayer groups.
Thank You booksneeze for offering me to review this book.
