Review The Choice by Robert Whitlow

This was a very interesting book to read yet also intriguing. Ther personalitlies in the book are very well brought out and you can feel the emotion they are feeling thru there words.
Summary: One Young Woman. Two Very Different Roads. -- The Choice will Change Everything. -- Even as a pregnant, unwed teen in 1974, Sandy Lincoln wanted to do the right thing.
I would recommend this book as it had me laughing, crying and all other emotions all in one book.

I was excited to get this book, I read reviews on it previous and it sounded like a great story. Once recieved and started reading it I was not disappointed. I read the entire book in one afternoon.
It tells a story of a feisty New Yorker moves to sunny Orlando to participate in a month-long audition, where shell live with nine other contestants and an eccentric housemother. Kara knows that the show already has a big-time celebrity lined up for the co-host, but she doesnt know who it is.
Chad Beacon quickly rose to fame after winning Americas Next Star, but he doesnt want his entire career to be about singing. There is so much more he wants to do-like act. The new variety show sounds like the perfect next step for him, but his parents want him to have a co-star who shares his faith since theyll be spending so much time together.
Acting is high on Karas priority list. But a relationship with God? Not so much. In fact, shes tried to stay away from anything religious. But God is after Karas heart and Hes put people in her life who are showing her theres far more to Christianity than rules and judgment.
And just when it seems that Karas going to have to give up her acting dream, God reveals that she may have a starring role after all-in a story so big only He could write it.

I really enjoyed the story and it is great for any young adults to adults.
I will pass it on for sure.
He Chose the Nails By Max Lucado
Another masterpiece by Lucado. Beautiful book from the appearance to the story. I read this book after Easter but kept it in mind during the read.
Summary of the book is how he looks at Christ's sacrifice on the cross and offers a magnification view of the well-known story of Jesus' death.
This is really a great read, and I will be sure to take it back out next Easter.
This was a very inspirational and motivating book
It was a great story and was hard to put down. It tells a story of bright young woman form a prominent Phoenix family. But after making a leap of faith at a Christian music fest, dropping out of med school, and moving to inner city Chicago, her family all but disowns her.
When Kat discovers SouledOut Community Church, she longs to become a part of the multicultural church family. But her tendency to immediately say whatever she''s thinking steps on the toes of nearly everyone she meets-especially Avis Douglass.
Avis has a strong faith, is the principal of one of Chicago''s highest performing elementary schools, and is a founding member of SouledOut. But the country''s economic downturn has thrown both her and her husband''s jobs in question. And Avis hasn''t heard from her youngest daughter in months-an estrangement that gnaws at her every day. Where is God in this?
Kat''s flamboyant zeal for living a "radical" Christian life is a stark contrast to Avis''s more reserved faith. But in God''s timing, the two women discover they need each other in ways neither of them expected.
I laughed, cried and passed this book on.
It was a truly great story loved it! Summary of the novel: Three lives are bound by a single book . . . and the cleansing waters of Molasses Creek.
Having traveled to the ends of the earth as a flight attendant, Ally Green has finally returned to the Lowcountry to bury her father as well as the past. But Vesey Washington is still living across the creek, and theirs is a complicated relationship-he was once her best friend . . . and also part of the reason she''s stayed away so long. When Ally discovers a message her father left behind asking her to quit running, it seems her past isn''t through with her yet.
As Ally''s wandering spirit wrestles with a deep longing to flee again, a young woman on the other side of the world escapes her life of slavery in the rock quarries of Nepal. A mysterious sketchbook leads Sunila Kunari to believe there''s more to her story than she''s ever been told, and she''s determined to follow the truth wherever it leads her.
A deep current intertwines the lives of these three souls, and a destiny of freedom, faith, and friendship awaits them all on the banks of Molasses Creek.
It is a very well put together hardcover book. Great story and pictures for childern.
Heaven is for Real for Kids tells the story of a little boy, who at 4 years old went to Heaven during a surgery. Colton miraculously recovered, and when he talked to his family after the surgery he told them of the things he saw in Heaven, which would have been impossible for him to know unless he did, in fact, go to Heaven. It tells a great story and gives hope to us that there is something better and not to be scared. Loved all verisons of this book!
Welcome to East Salem. A deceptively sleepy town where ancient supernatural forces are being awakened.
A local high-school girl is found murdered in a park. It portaits 2 main characters who are so detailed and well explained.
By Stephen MansfieldWhere Has Oprah Taken Us” by Stephen Mansfield has shown us a different look at Oprah Winfrey. I have always absolutley loved Oprah so when I seen a chance to review this book on Booksneeze I signed up write away. It is a great hardcover book with a beautiful picture of Oprah on the cover.
Summary:
Born into poverty in Mississippi in 1954 and rising through talent, hard work and despite tragedy-she was raped at the age of nine and lost an infant son at 14-Oprah Winfrey has become one of the wealthiest, most powerful, and most popular women of her age. These facts alone would make Winfrey worthy of study, yet what makes her of even more profound impact on American society is her decision to champion the cause of "New Age Christianity." She is, as Christianity Today has proclaimed, "a postmodern priestess-an icon of church-free spirituality." Rejecting her Baptist roots, Winfrey has become a champion of the Course in Miracles, a seminar in which Christianity is reinterpreted in terms of self-actualization, personal divinity, and self-empowerment. She has also become a disciple of Eckhart Tolle, the increasingly popular teacher of a form of spirituality that blends Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Christianity.slejeunehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00080450849450728914noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8686451628861307266.post-7882110282379242732011-09-13T23:12:00.000-07:002011-09-13T23:12:01.792-07:00Review: Hermie, a Common Caterpillar By Max LucadoYet another another masterpiece from Max Lucado.
Summary:
The remarkable story of Brenda Warner''s resilient faith in the face of the unpredictable, both before and during her marriage to NFL quarterback Kurt Warner.
Brenda''s life has taken twists and turns that are stranger than fiction. It always seemed as if she was just one phone call away from the next explosive change. Each time her plans fell apart, she had a choice: would she give up, or would she press forward and learn from the unexpected? One Call Away is the inspiring story of a woman who has prevailed through many of the circumstances that discourage women: tragedy, poverty, betrayal, and humiliation. But unlike most women, her life has been on display in the media.
Brenda''s faith and God''s strength enable her to face challenge after challenge: an accident that leaves her son blind and brain damaged, a crumbling marriage, a tornado that kills her parents, a new relationship with promising football player Kurt Warner, and the pressures his sudden success brings to their growing family.
Through food stamps and funerals, Super Bowls and serving others, Brenda''s strength is unwavering. Her determination to dream new dreams, willingness to learn from her mistakes, and commitment to giving back to her community make her a role model for women of all backgrounds.
Her dreams haven''t materialized as she had imagined, but Brenda has found that God has a much bigger plan for her.
The Triple Threat Club novels follow three fiercely intelligent women-a TV reporter, a Federal prosecutor and an FBI agent-as they investigate crimes as current as today''s headlines.
The Triple Threat women have faced intense situations before.but never such a cunningly cold-blooded murderer.
Elizabeth Avery is a stunningly beautiful woman. But her perfectly managed exterior hides the ice cold heart of a killer. She ingeniously manipulates everyone who crosses her path to do exactly as she wishes--from crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, who thinks Elizabeth is her new best friend, to a shy young man Elizabeth persuades to kill for her.
As Elizabeth leaves a trail of bodies in her wake, Federal prosecutor Allison Pierce and FBI agent Nicole Hedges must piece together clues from seemingly unrelated crimes. Can they stop her before she reaches her unthinkable, ultimate end-game?

It was a very suspensful book and I really enjoyed it. I have already passed it to friends.
This is the first time for me reading an Amish novel and wasn't sure what to except. After reading the short stories I have discovered that these stores told by Fuller are great inspiring reads. The love between the Young Amish and God really come to life in these novel.
The titles include:
A Miracle for Miriam, A place of his own and What the Heart Sees.
I would highly recommend these stories to anyone. They were a quick read but a enjoyable one.
I will pass them on to my sister's so they can enjoy them as much as I did.
The author makes it easy to understand the feelings that men have, how they express them or don't most times. It explains how they cope with situations and also the romantic side and there thinking and thoughts.
