Starring Me by Krista McGee

I was excited to get this book, I read reviews on it previous and it sounded like a great story.  Once recieved and started reading it I was not disappointed.  I read the entire book in one afternoon.
It tells a story of a feisty New Yorker moves to sunny Orlando to participate in a month-long audition, where shell live with nine other contestants and an eccentric housemother. Kara knows that the show already has a big-time celebrity lined up for the co-host, but she doesnt know who it is.
Chad Beacon quickly rose to fame after winning Americas Next Star, but he doesnt want his entire career to be about singing. There is so much more he wants to do-like act. The new variety show sounds like the perfect next step for him, but his parents want him to have a co-star who shares his faith since theyll be spending so much time together.
Acting is high on Karas priority list. But a relationship with God? Not so much. In fact, shes tried to stay away from anything religious. But God is after Karas heart and Hes put people in her life who are showing her theres far more to Christianity than rules and judgment.
And just when it seems that Karas going to have to give up her acting dream, God reveals that she may have a starring role after all-in a story so big only He could write it.

I really enjoyed the story and it is great for any young adults to adults.
I will pass it on for sure.

Redemption A Rebellious Spirit, a Praying Mother, and the Unlikely Path to Olympic Gold

Wow, what an inspiring novel.  It shows how no matter what situation you are in in your life there is hope.   Keep Faith and Focus on what is important to you.
tells the story of Bryan Clay, winner of the 2008 Olympic gold medal and the 2004 Olympic silver medal in the decathlon. By the grace of God, Bryan went from being a fist-fighting, drug-using, presuicidal kid in Hawaii to world champion in the toughest Olympic sport.
I am so grateful to Booksneeze for giving me the chance to review this novel.
It has changed me.
I will pass it on to friends and family.

He Chose the Nails By Max Lucado
Another masterpiece by Lucado.  Beautiful book from the appearance to the story.  I read this book after Easter but kept it in mind during the read.
Summary of the book is how he looks at Christ's sacrifice on the cross and offers a magnification view of the well-known story of Jesus' death.
This is really a great read, and I will be sure to take it back out next Easter.
This was a very inspirational and motivating book

Farm Fresh Southern Cooking by Tammy Algood.

Farm Fresh Southern Cooking by Tammy Algood.
I am writing a review for the Cookbook “Farm Fresh Southern Cooking” that I received from Booksneeze.  When I received this book I was pleasantly surprised with this book.  It has beautiful colored pictures of some of the recipes and is very bright and colorful.  It also list the Farm’s where the food came from with contact information for them including there website which was a nice touch.  I haven’t tried all recipes in the book yet however; I did try about 15 or so.
Some of my favorites were the Coconut Peach Crisp Page 225 Delicious!   The Ring the Doorbell Caramel Apples Page 205, the whole family loved these, I will be making them again for Halloween for sure and the Basil Biscuits Page 127 they were so savory and melt in your mouth.
Thank You Booksneeze, this is a great addition to my cookbook collection.
I can’t wait with summer coming to go to the local farmer’s market in my community and keep trying these wonderful recipes.
Recommend this to anyone who loves to cook!

Stand By Me By Neta Jackson

Standy by Me was a really good book.  It was a great story and was hard to put down.  It tells a story of bright young woman form a prominent Phoenix family. But after making a leap of faith at a Christian music fest, dropping out of med school, and moving to inner city Chicago, her family all but disowns her.
When Kat discovers SouledOut Community Church, she longs to become a part of the multicultural church family. But her tendency to immediately say whatever she''s thinking steps on the toes of nearly everyone she meets-especially Avis Douglass.
Avis has a strong faith, is the principal of one of Chicago''s highest performing elementary schools, and is a founding member of SouledOut. But the country''s economic downturn has thrown both her and her husband''s jobs in question. And Avis hasn''t heard from her youngest daughter in months-an estrangement that gnaws at her every day. Where is God in this?
Kat''s flamboyant zeal for living a "radical" Christian life is a stark contrast to Avis''s more reserved faith. But in God''s timing, the two women discover they need each other in ways neither of them expected.
I laughed, cried and passed this book on.
It was a truly great story loved it!  Thank You BookSneeze.

Beyound Molasses Creek by Nicole Seitz

This was a very heart felt story.  Summary of the novel: Three lives are bound by a single book . . . and the cleansing waters of Molasses Creek.
Having traveled to the ends of the earth as a flight attendant, Ally Green has finally returned to the Lowcountry to bury her father as well as the past. But Vesey Washington is still living across the creek, and theirs is a complicated relationship-he was once her best friend . . . and also part of the reason she''s stayed away so long. When Ally discovers a message her father left behind asking her to quit running, it seems her past isn''t through with her yet.
As Ally''s wandering spirit wrestles with a deep longing to flee again, a young woman on the other side of the world escapes her life of slavery in the rock quarries of Nepal. A mysterious sketchbook leads Sunila Kunari to believe there''s more to her story than she''s ever been told, and she''s determined to follow the truth wherever it leads her.
A deep current intertwines the lives of these three souls, and a destiny of freedom, faith, and friendship awaits them all on the banks of Molasses Creek.
I really enjoyed this book and will pass it on to friends.

I am reviewing this book for Booksneeze.  Before even reading the book just taking it out of the package it is a beautiful book.  Hardcover, love the image on the cover so warming and by seeing that I could not wait to read the book.  I have read the previous books in this series and I feel that this is the best by far of the set.
